IndeVets Social

Over my two years at IndeVets, I worked closely with our Content Marketing Specialist, Megan, to transform the company’s social media presence into what it is today. When I joined, Megan was managing every aspect of the channels herself — from concept and copy to design. I initially supported her by bringing a more cohesive, on-brand look and feel to her ideas, but as we began collaborating more closely, we realized how much potential there was to elevate the brand’s social voice and visual identity together.

Megan continued to lead strategy, content planning, and copywriting while I focused on creative direction and design innovation. By 2025, our goal was to “break the brand” — experimenting beyond our established visual system to find new ways to engage our audience. After attending the Creative Works West conference in May 2025, I returned inspired with fresh concepts and a renewed perspective on social storytelling, design trends, and platform best practices.

This shared drive for creativity and growth fueled the designs you’ll see below. Every post was the result of collaborative brainstorming, research, and a willingness to experiment. The results spoke for themselves: between Q1 and Q2 of 2025, IndeVets’ Instagram grew by over 300 followers and tripled its engagement rate. Facebook and LinkedIn each gained 100+ followers, with LinkedIn’s engagement climbing from 12.5% to 14.3%. Through consistent teamwork, curiosity, and bold design, we turned IndeVets’ social channels into an engaging extension of the brand’s personality and mission.
