Petplan Email Designs
During my two years at Petplan, I had the opportunity to design a wide variety of marketing emails during a period of significant change for the company. As the brand continued to evolve in anticipation of a complete rebrand, there was plenty of room to explore new creative directions while maintaining a recognizable and trustworthy brand experience for our customers.
The emails below represent a collection of that work, including promotional campaigns and educational content. Every project required balancing strong visual storytelling with clear communication, whether the goal was driving new policy enrollments, encouraging readers to learn more through our blog, or helping pet parents better understand their pets' health.
Working on these campaigns allowed me to experiment with illustration, photography, layout, and typography while designing within the unique constraints of our email platform, Sales Force marketing cloud. I worked closely with our email marketing team to ensure each design was not only on brand and beautiful, but functional. We also tested a large variety of variables, from button shape and color to photography vs. illustration style and more. These tests and close collaboration with the email team allowed us to create emails that performed well and were constantly improving.
Each piece challenged me to communicate complex information in a way that felt approachable, engaging, and easy to digest across both desktop and mobile devices. Looking back, this collection reflects not only the evolution of the Petplan brand, but also my own growth as a designer.
